Beside The Seaside - overlay mosaic crochet pattern

I got my inspiration from childhood holidays in various Norfolk seaside resorts … think rockpools, sandcastles, ice creams, beach huts and flying kites…
The pattern is worked using the overlay mosaic crochet technique, and is finished off with a simple envelope border to hide the loose ends.

If you are unfamiliar with mosaic crochet or the envelope border, don’t worry, they are much easier to do than they look.
